The Hush Room was not built to be a solo endeavour. It was built to be a community — of churches, partners, volunteers and supporters who believe that an entire generation deserves to be invited into the silence. Here is how you can be part of it.
Every retreat THR runs requires a venue, a guide, materials, meals — and often a scholarship for someone who could not otherwise come. When you partner with THR — as a church, a volunteer or a financial supporter — you are directly placing a young person in the room where God meets them.
Many churches want to offer deeper formation to their youth but lack the trained guides, the physical space, or the framework to do it well. THR partners with churches to bring the silence to their community — either by hosting a retreat at our venue, or by coming to yours.
Retreats designed specifically for your 13–35 age group. We bring the full HUSH Arc to your community, sized for groups of 8–30.
NUS · NTU · SMU · Polytechnics · Private Universities. We understand the particular pressures of the student season.
A THR half-day or full-day retreat for your cell group — deepening the roots of an existing community.
Pastors, worship leaders, cell leaders — those who give the most often receive the least. We built a retreat specifically for them.
The silence should not be a privilege of the affluent. From the beginning THR has committed that financial cost would never be the reason a young person couldn't enter the room. The Scholarship Fund makes this possible.
Every dollar given to the fund directly pays for a retreat place for someone who could not otherwise afford it. No administrative overhead. No marketing spend. Directly — person to retreat.
Every retreat requires a team. Not a large team — but a faithful one. If you have been through THR and want to give back, or if you simply feel called to serve, here is where we need you.
Every retreat is covered in prayer before, during and after. Prayer partners commit to interceding for each retreat — for the retreatants, the guide, the space and the encounter.
The retreat experience begins the moment someone arrives. The hospitality team creates the environment — setting up, preparing food, welcoming, and holding the practical space so the guide can focus on the spiritual direction.
If you are training in spiritual direction, or are a mature Christian with a pastoral heart, we welcome direction apprentices who learn by observing and then gradually practising under supervision.
Photography, videography, graphic design, social media — helping THR tell its story with the same beauty and intentionality as the retreats themselves.
Behind every retreat is logistics, communication, registration management and financial administration. The unseen team that makes the visible work possible.
A committed community of intercessors who pray regularly for the ministry as a whole — for provision, for wisdom, for the young people who have not yet found their way through the door.
THR is built on a conviction that this work is worth funding. Not because it is a business — but because the spiritual formation of a generation is one of the most significant investments the Body of Christ can make.
Your financial partnership directly funds:
I came to the retreat burnt out and honestly a little sceptical. I left having heard God speak more clearly than I had in years. The silence that terrified me on the way in was the thing I didn't want to leave.
As a youth pastor I have been looking for something like this for years. A space that takes young people seriously as spiritual beings — not just programme participants. THR is the real thing. I will be sending every one of my young adults here.
I came through Gate IV. I won't say more than that. But I will say that the room was safe enough for me to bring what I had been carrying alone for three years. And I didn't leave carrying it the same way.
Whether you are a church leader, a potential volunteer, a donor, or simply someone who wants to know more — we are here and we respond personally. No automated replies. A real person will read your message.
